CLADE-IS represents an information system for clinical data warehousing. Researchers in health and life sciences industry use this EDC platform (Electronic Data Capture) for secure and intuitive data management.
I had a thorough touch with the CLADE-IS electronic data capture platform with my colleagues at the clinic during an international study OBAAMA-INT, focused on anaesthesiology and algesiology in obstetrics. We were enthusiastic about its friendly interface when entering data from more than 100 centers in Czechia and Slovakia. We also appreciated its robust authorization system that allowed us to set new roles for monitors and data validators in the course of the study.

In the CLADE-IS system, we collect data in two monocentric clinical trials, FES2 and afECT. As we have thought about the design of these studies in our clinic for so long and thoroughly, we happily avoided collecting data on paper or in Excel – a variant which in the past led to many errors, data inconsistencies and disappointments. Now, we are enthusiastic about the possibilities of CLADE-IS.

Institute of Biostatistics and Analyses Ltd (IBA) is a spin-off company of the Masaryk University founded with the goal of transfering research and development results from academia into application in society.
With the previous academic background, IBA has been an essential partner for clinical researches – local and international – including medical expert societies, pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies and academic teams – for more than 15 years. The company focuses mainly on data management and analysis in clinical research projects, real-world evidence projects, organization and management of clinical trials – particularly non-interventional clinical studies and health registries. This main activity is complemented with other services such as market access support, cost-effectiveness analysis, pharmacovigilance and development of software platform for virtual patients.
